In February 2007, Grupo Prisa became the main shareholder of Grupo Media Capital with 73.7% of the shares. Grupo Prisa concluded the second Tender Offer on the whole capital of GMC, and by the end of the process, Grupo Prisa reached 94.4% of the Grupo Media Capital stock shares.
